Japan's largest sweet potato festival, the Sweet Potato Expo, will be held at Makuhari Messe in 2026. Visitors can look forward to over 200 unique sweet potato desserts and foods that are perfect for summer enjoyment.
Every store at the expo has crafted its own exclusive menu, ensuring a diverse culinary experience. From 5:30 PM, attendees can participate in the Nighttime Sweet Potato Fair, where they can pair alcohol with sweet potatoes.
The Summer Sweet Potato Expo offers more than just food; it provides an opportunity to turn your summer vacation into a learning experience. Science experiment workshops using sweet potatoes will be available for attendees.
The event runs from Thursday, August 6th to Sunday, August 9th, 2026. The Summer Sweet Potato Fair is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while the Evening Sweet Potato Fair takes place from 17:30 to 20:00.
The expo will be held at Makuhari Messe Hall 3. Re-entry is permitted during the event.
