Getting started
Arrive at the skydiving base on Rottnest Island. After check-in, you’ll receive a safety briefing, be fitted with a jumpsuit and harness, and meet your certified tandem instructor who will guide you through the entire jump.
What to expect
- The climb: Soar up to your chosen altitude—10,000 ft for a 30-second freefall or 15,000 ft for a 66-second freefall, while enjoying aerial views of Thomson Bay, The Basin, and the island’s hidden coves.
- The jump: Leap from the plane with your instructor at speeds up to 200 km/h, feeling the full adrenaline rush of freefall above Rottnest’s beaches and turquoise waters.
- The descent: At around 5,000 ft, your parachute deploys, allowing a 5–7 minute float above the island. Take in views of the coastline and beaches from above.
- The touchdown: Land safely on one of Rottnest Island’s pristine beaches—Thomson Bay, Bickley Bay, or Fairbridge Bluff, still buzzing from your unforgettable experience.
