Dongyan Mountain National Forest Recreation Area is about an hour's drive from Daxi, Taoyuan. It was once a logging team site for the Forest Service, leaving behind many forestry relics such as skidders and nurseries. The ecology of Dongyan Mountain is rich with 43 species of mountain birds and numerous mammals. Even the white-faced flying squirrel can be seen here.

Looking from the Man Yue Bridge, you can see a large stone wall more than ten meters high covering the upper end of Man Yue Yuan Waterfall. The waterfall rushes straight into the water. Below, the waterfall is extremely majestic, while the Virgin Falls is more gentle and graceful.

On a sunny day, light and shadow refract and change between the waterfalls, often making them appear iridescent. The fossil area located next to the forest road of Dongyan Mountain contains fossils and landscapes that are millions of years old and very precious.
