Yes, at the time of booking, you can select an expert guide who speaks either English, German, Spanish, French, or Italian for your visit.

Bring a valid ID card with you, as it will be required for verification before the tour begins. Choose supportive, comfortable footwear, since the Small Fortress features uneven terrain and gravel surfaces that require steady footing. Carry a compact umbrella or lightweight raincoat, as weather conditions can change quickly and much of the visit takes place in unsheltered areas.

Avoid using flash photography inside designated memorial spaces, as it can damage delicate exhibits and disrupt the commemorative atmosphere. Travel with only a small personal bag, because large luggage cannot be taken on the tour vehicle and is impractical to carry around the site.

This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users, as the fortress includes steep stairways, tight passageways, and rough, unpaved courtyards that present mobility challenges.

Meet your guide at the main entrance of the Rudolfinum on Jan Palach Square, where they will be easy to spot holding a blue and white umbrella. The tour does not run on December 23, 24, 25, 26, 31, or January 1, so keep these blackout dates in mind when planning. Be aware that parts of the experience may be emotionally intense due to the historical significance of the site.
