Half a day at Terra Mitica covers more ground than it sounds. Entry from 3pm drops you into one of Spain's most ambitiously themed parks at exactly the moment when the crowds from the morning rush have thinned out.
Getting started
Your ticket is valid from 3pm on the date selected at booking. Head to Terra Mitica at Partida del Moralet, s/n, 03502 Benidorm, Alicante. Show your QR code at the ticket verification point — no need to queue at the box office. Collect a park map and show schedule at the entrance and plan your first zone before you walk in.
What to expect
Terra Mitica
A theme park built around five ancient Mediterranean civilisations, each occupying its own fully themed zone. This is not signage and a colour scheme — the park genuinely commits to its concept, with architecture, ride theming, costumed shows, and landscaping all working together across Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia, and The Islands.
Egypt: The Gates of Karnak welcome you into the park's Egyptian zone. From here: the Alexandria Gate, Blue Nile Falls, and the hidden riches of an ancient civilisation built out in impressive physical detail. The theming here is the most elaborate in the park.
Greece: Mythological creatures and gods accompany you through the Greek zone. Rides here lean into the dramatic — think storms, sea monsters, and the kind of scale that ancient Greek storytelling demands.
Rome: The great empire in full: historical conquests, gladiatorial drama, and the rides and shows that go with them. The Roman zone consistently produces the park's most crowd-pleasing live entertainment.
Iberia and The Islands: Two further civilisations rounding out the full Mediterranean arc. The Islands zone in particular adds a coastal, seafaring atmosphere that contrasts well with the grandeur of Egypt and Rome.
Live shows: Shows run across multiple stages throughout the afternoon. Costumes, choreography, and production values are consistently strong — check the schedule at the entrance and build at least one show into your afternoon. Note that shows are conducted in Spanish.
Seasonal water zones: Available during the summer season, the water zones give the park a proper cool-down option on the hottest days. Check the park calendar before your visit to confirm water zone availability on your date.
Dining inside the park: Several themed restaurants operate throughout the park. No external food or drink is permitted inside — dining options cover the full visit from afternoon snacks through to an early evening meal before the park closes.
