In 1862 New Orleans was living through one of its most challenging times: Union troops occupied the city and lived among the residents, and nobody could trust anyone. In this self-guided exploration game you visit locations from the award-winning book The Energy Inside Valsin's Choices, from Royal Street and Chartres Street past the Napoleon House, the Pharmacy Museum and St Louis Cathedral to the French Market and the Old Mint, and learn what they were then and what they have become today.
Along the way you solve challenges in the Questo app, learn historical facts and local myths, and discover hidden spots that only locals know and most tourists pass by. The walk covers about 3 km and takes around 3 hours, with no time limit.
