This exhibition is the most comprehensive showcase of The Jim Henson Company’s creations ever assembled, spanning iconic television, film, and stage productions.
Gallery 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and River Room: Move through these galleries to see hundreds of objects, including practical puppets, animatronic creatures, sets, props, costumes, original drawings, and moving image clips from productions such as Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Farscape, and Sesame Street.
Walk among world-first set installations, including the Great Hall from Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, and view detailed production elements that reveal the artistry behind beloved characters like Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Gobo, and the Goblin King.
Access to all exhibition galleries is included with your ticket, allowing you to explore at your own pace and revisit favorite sections throughout your visit.

Your ticket grants you access to a curated cinema program featuring over 90 films. Screenings highlight The Jim Henson Company’s productions and the work of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, with selections from classic and contemporary titles.

The Sock Puppet Studio (during Queensland school holidays)
During Queensland school holidays, all ages are welcome to participate in The Sock Puppet Studio from 10am to 3:30pm.
Become both builder and performer in this hands-on activity inspired by The Jim Henson Company’s approach to character creation using everyday materials.
The studio is open daily during the school holiday period, providing an interactive space for visitors to craft their own sock puppets and experiment with performance techniques.

If you visit during Queensland school holidays, you can drop in to The Sock Puppet Studio at any point between 10am and 3:30pm.
