The forest is home to Taiwanese blue magpies, blackbirds, and over 196 species of butterflies. Visitors may even encounter the protected yellow-scarlet swallowtail butterfly.

In 1965, the Forest Service planted a variety of tropical tree species here, making it an ideal place to appreciate broad-leaved artificial forests. Shuangliu National Forest Recreation Area is located in Shizi Township, Pingtung County, less than half an hour's drive from Fenggang.

  • Passengers who purchase half-tickets must present relevant discount certificates for inspection when entering the venue. If they are unable to present qualified certificates, the difference in the original fare will be made up.
