Upon arriving at the theatre near Castle Square—where Chopin lived, studied, and composed his early works—you'll be transported to his era. Experience the poetic genius of Chopin's compositions in the Gothic halls on the left wing of Warsaw’s Royal Castle, located in Old Town. The intimate concert hall enhances your appreciation for music as you explore Chopin's sonatas, preludes, and waltzes. An informative introduction to this world-famous Polish composer will be provided by a host speaking English. Then, enjoy a 45-minute recital of Chopin’s masterpieces performed by one of the most accomplished pianists.
During intermission, savor a complimentary drink—choose from Polish mead or apple juice—and explore photographic exhibitions featuring artists from Poland and beyond. When weather permits, step out to the terrace for stunning views of the Vistula River. You also have the option to purchase a CD of the performance with a dedication from the artist.
