The institution, together with Loro Parque Fundación, boasts the largest genetic reserve of parrots on the planet. Furthermore, Loro Parque acts as its main sponsor, meaning that visitors make a decisive contribution to the work the NGO carries out worldwide.

The Foundation has invested over 30 million dollars in more than 300 conservation projects, through which it has saved 18 species from extinction and reduced the threat level for many others.
