Participants will need an International driving permit (IDP) issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention to drive in Japan. For Australian driver's license holders, you need to obtain an International Driving Permit from either AAA, NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAA, RAC, RACT or AANT before you leave Australia. Any other permits issued by other unauthorized associations are not recognized in Japan. Participants with licenses issued from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco would be required to obtain a Japanese Translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF). Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or original country license and official translation for some countries) and original passport. If you are in the US MILITARY you will be eligible to drive with either your SOFA (USFJ Form 4EJ) Permit or state-side license and Active Duty Uniformed Military ID. Please arrive at the redemption point 15 mins before the scheduled time of your experience to avoid any delays. Please bring your physical permits or necessary documents and physical passport with you. Tickets will be made available within 72 hours of booking.

Licenses issued from countries that are not under the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, and Qatar) will not be allowed to drive in Japan.
