Getting started

Arrive at the taiko studio located at 11-1 Uguisudanicho, Shibuya-ku, just an 8-minute walk from Daikanyama station or 12 minutes from Shibuya station. After check-in, you’ll meet your master instructor, who will introduce the session and provide all necessary taiko drums and drumming sticks. The workshop is conducted in English and Japanese, with accessibility support for visual, audio, mobility, and neurodivergent needs.

This 90-minute workshop immerses you in the rhythms and traditions of Japanese taiko drumming, guided by a highly accomplished and award-winning instructor.
