Getting started
Gather at the taiko studio situated at 11-1 Uguisudanicho, Shibuya-ku, which is an 8-minute walk from Daikanyama station or 12 minutes by foot from Shibuya station. Upon arrival, you'll check in and meet your master instructor who will introduce the session and provide all necessary taiko drums and drumming sticks. The workshop accommodates participants with visual, audio, mobility, and neurodivergent needs and is conducted in both English and Japanese.
This 90-minute interactive experience delves into the rhythms and traditions of Japanese taiko drumming under an accomplished award-winning instructor. Participants will:
