Booking FAQs

Photography is allowed in most areas, except the Jewel House and the Chapel of St. John. Photos aren’t allowed during the Ceremony of the Keys. Luggage, large bags, tripods, selfie sticks, and other photographic or recording equipment are not allowed in this experience. Smoking, eating, and drinking are not allowed.

This experience is partially wheelchair- and pram/stroller accessible. Complimentary adult carer/companion tickets can be obtained on the day of your visit upon presentation of proof of supporting documents (such as a Blue Badge, Freedom Pass, DLA letter or PIP letter) at the Ticket Office. Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

The Crown Jewels are a working collection, and as a consequence, the display is subject to change without prior notice due to security reasons. Your ticket is valid for one entry only. No re-entry is permitted. Some Beefeater meet-and-greets take place outside the King’s House, a restricted area normally off-limits to the public. The guided portion of the tour lasts approximately 1.15 to 2.5 hours, after which you may explore the Tower at your own pace. You’ll meet a tour host at the start of the experience, who will guide you to the Tower’s gates. There, you’ll be introduced to your Beefeater guide, who will lead you into the Tower of London after it has closed to the public.
