Located on the western slope of the sacred Mt. Hakkai, one of the three mountains of Echigo, this 2,217m long, 81-seater ropeway is situated within the Muikamachi Hakkai Ski Resort. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Uonuma Plain.

Ropeway Schedule

Trains normally run every 20 minutes (at 00, 20, and 40 minutes past the hour). The intervals between buses may change when it is crowded or when large groups arrive.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed on the bus if they are small and in a cage. Pet fees are to be paid on site: round trip for 500 yen, one way for 300 yen.
