Tofuku-ji Temple in Kyoto is hosting a limited-time event called "Premium Night Viewing" during early summer. This year marks the third installment of this unique experience, following previous events held at Kennin-ji and Kencho-ji Temples.

About the Event

This immersive sound art night allows visitors to experience walking meditation or seated meditation surrounded by "neuromusic," scientifically proven brain-soothing music. The event offers a unique blend of sound, silence, light, and shadow.

1. Sound Corridor "Neuromusic": VIE's brain-soothing music is placed throughout the venue, guiding visitors into a mindful state as they stroll and view art installations.
2. Tsutenkyo Bridge "Green Maple Leaves": Over 1,000 green maple trees symbolize Tofuku-ji Temple in the Valley of the Refreshing Breeze. The movement of wind is expressed through clouds and rustling leaves.
3. Hojo Garden "Hakkai": Wind Dragon Dance: A giant sea of clouds appears among illuminated autumn leaves, harmonizing with crickets' sounds for a tranquil experience.
4. Hatto (Main Hall): Features the Standing Statue of Shakyamuni Buddha and Blue Dragon Painting, visible only during nighttime viewing.
5. Zen Hall: Sound Zen "Neuromusic Zen": An immersive meditation space where visitors wear an EEG to visualize their brain state in real-time as audio and video. Digital patterns and brainwave sounds create a silent environment for deep relaxation.
