Comfortable shoes are recommended. Bring warm clothing as the temperature underground ranges between 14° and 16° C.

Luggage or large bags are not allowed inside the mine. Luggage larger than 30 x 20 x 10 centimeters is not permitted (can be left on the bus if applicable).

Not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility impairments. There are approximately 800 steps to climb, with 350 at the beginning to descend into the mine.

The tour is not recommended for anyone with claustrophobia. Maximum group size is 40 visitors per guide. The pace and duration of guided tours are determined by visitor service regulations; duration is approximate. Toilet facilities are spaced along the route at approximately 40 and 90 minutes from the start of the visit. If your child is less than 150 cm tall, please inform the local partner so a child seat can be arranged. Your pickup time may be adjusted; you will be informed by the activity provider if necessary. The local partner will contact you by WhatsApp, email, or phone the day before your tour to confirm pickup time and details. If your accommodation is in Krakow’s Old Town or Kazimierz (restricted traffic zones), the nearest possible pickup point will be confirmed. Meet at the UNESCO monument in front of the entrance to the mine if not using pickup.
