The Xinpingxi Coal Mine Museum features a scaled replica of a mine tunnel to help visitors understand mining operations. This exhibit showcases the process from coal formation to transportation, allowing you to experience what it was like in a mine before its peak.

The one-eyed miniature train is among the museum's most historically significant exhibits. It holds the distinction of being Taiwan's first electrified coal transport train and remains the only operational miniature train in the country today. Originally used as a coal-carrying trolley, it has been repurposed into a sightseeing attraction for railway fans.

The park is also known for its rich ecological resources. During the transition from spring to summer, visitors can enjoy views of tung flowers and mountain lilies scattered across the mountains. Additionally, an aquatic plant area in the park becomes vibrant with fireflies at dusk during the summer months.
