This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. Zoo Miami offers wheelchairs and Electronic Convenience Vehicles for rent. To ensure availability, especially on weekends and holidays, it is highly recommended to reserve strollers, and wheelchairs (both manual and motorized) before your visit.

Daytime admission does not include Zoo Lights. A typical exploration of the zoo takes 4-5 hours. If you don’t wish to explore on foot, safari cycle rentals are available for an additional fee. Oversized bags, backpacks, coolers, and luggage are permitted but will be subject to search upon entry. Guests are welcome to bring food and enjoy it at the designated picnic area located near the zoo entrance. Since a fair amount of walking is involved, comfortable clothing is highly recommended.
